Post Surgery Breast Cancer treatment and Care
There are a couple of post-surgery breast cancer treatments available and hormone therapy is one of them. This is usually given when your tumor is found to be estrogen sensitive. Each tumor has a different estrogen receptor level than the next and the higher the level, the more benefits the person will have from hormone therapy.
Another breast cancer treatment used post-surgery is Chemotherapy. This is sometimes used before surgery in order to try to reduce the tumor size. However, the treatment depends on the seriousness of cancer and the way far it has spread.
Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer
The commonest cancer of the breast therapy used for breast cancer is Chemotherapy.
Chemotherapy uses anti-cancer drugs to destroy any cancer cells. It is always best to research your options so that you know everything that there is to know about the treatments and methods involved. Cancer treatment is becoming more successful over the years so there is still hope!
